MotoGP Qatar 2012: lights, camera and … the show begins in Losail

Moto2: Marc Márquez in the spotlight of all

I do not need to come here to tell you about the benefits of the competitive Moto2 category, as it is well known to everyone who has been giving us great races since its premiere two seasons ago. And of course, with the champion of last year, Stefan Bradl, in MotoGP, it seems that the crown must be for a Marc Márquez who just got it last year. Of course, Marc’s preseason has been very short due to his eye problems arising from the crash in Sepang last year, so we must wait to see him on track with more peace of mind to see how he really is. But of course, we are talking about Marc, so we can and should hope for the best.

However, the range of possible candidates to win this race is almost endless. So, judging from the preseason, we should have Thomas Luthi, Scott Redding, Claudio Corti (specialist in preseason) or a Pol Espargaró that honestly is the one that has surprised me the most, what a leap it has made! But we are not going to be deluded, and we can not forget about Andrea Iannone, Toni Elías (who wants to recover the 2010 throne) or Julito Simón, who we hope will be lucky. We will also have to be attentive to what Nico Terol and Johann Zarco do.

This is my podium for the race:

1. Thomas Luthi
2. Marc Márquez
3. Pol Espargaró
