FIM Gala 2012 with the great champions

The Gala of the International Motorcycling Federation was held yesterday from Monte Carlo, where the champions of all specialties, so the whole room loaded with champions and champions, a special night to bid farewell to a 2012 season full of excitement and much rivalry.

The first prizes have been for Track Racing, although before we had a speech by Vito Ippolito, the president of the FIM to later give way to the awards ceremony for Ice Speedway and the rest of the specialties. And then we had the first surprise of the night, as they have awarded the Circuit de Catalunya with the award for caring for the environment, the 2012 FIM Enviornment Award.

Afterwards they have passed Cross Country with the award to our Champion Marc Coma; passing the Enduro with the incredible Blazusiak in Superenduro, while in the category of women another medal for Laia Sanz, which makes collection and has several repeated especially in Trial. We have seen Meo, Nambotin and Renet pass through the stage. It was the turn of the trial with dominance of ours in a total way, with Laia Sanz and Toni Bou as winners. Motocross followed with all its categories and championships, among them the Freestyle and the spectacular Remi Bizouard and the Supercross with Villopoto, in addition to the cracks of MX1 Cairoli and MX2 Herlings. The Rookie Awards has been for Tim Gajser.

And the Road Racing moments came, with Supersport, Superbikes, MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3; watching Biaggi pick up this award that closes a spectacular sports race, ciao Max. Then we saw the World Cup champions with Cortese, Márquez and Lorenzo, great champions.

The last two awards are special, that of FIM Woman of the year, which has been for our beloved Laia Sanz, while the Personality of the Year has been for the MotoGP champion, Jorge Lorenzo, who has been voted by all fans. to the world of motorcycles to get this award.
