Marc Márquez has celebrated his 100th career in the World Championship conquering his fourth consecutive victory of the 2014 season. The World Champion has disposed of Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa to win his first World Cup victory at the bwin Grand Prix of Spain .

Márquez has added his first world triumph in Jerez – the only circuit included in the current calendar where he had not yet been imposed in any category – after starting from pole for the fourth time in a row.

It was the first podium in this Rossi track since the 2010 season. Pedrosa was third and he has given a new double to the Repsol Honda team.
Overcome by the Barcelona of Honda seven laps to go, Jorge Lorenzo has had to settle for the fourth position and has not been able to celebrate his 27th birthday and his 200th career in the World Championship since the podium. Behind the Mallorcan, Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati team) has been awarded a very busy 5th place after an uncompromising battle with Álvaro Bautista (GO & FUN Honda Gresini), 6th, and Aleix Espargaró (7th). The pilot of Talavera de la Reina has added his first points in the Championship after his consecutive fiascos in the races of Losail, Austin and Termas de Rio Hondo.
The duo of the Monster Yamaha Tech 3, Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaró, and Stefan Bradl (LCR Honda) have completed the top ten positions of the Grand Prix.
